Deputy Manager (RN) full time

Registered Nurse (nights) full or part time

Deputy Manager RN

Due to retirement this exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled RN to join us in the key role. You will either already be a Deputy Manager seeking a new challenge or a clinically strong Senior Nurse looking for a development opportunity. Reporting to the Registered Manager and supported by our Senior RN, you will manage and lead the clinical team demonstrating excellent clinical, leadership and people engagement skills. Responsible for all medicines management you will be familiar with all relevant H&S C Regulations and be prepared to become the expert in managing our person centred electronic care plans. You will support the Registered Manager with a number of operational activities, assuming responsibility for the management of the Home in their absence. You must be highly motivated with a warm friendly manner and a flexible approach to managing your work and the needs of the Home. You must have proven experience of successfully managing and motivating a team through effective communication skills, positivity and enthusiasm.

Registered Nurse (nights) Wednesdays & Sundays

We would love to recruit a Registered Nurse(s) able to lead a team of competent Health Care Assistants during the night shift. This role is offered on a permanent contract covering Wednesday and Sunday nights.  We also ask that you are willing to cover additional shifts during busy periods or to cover holiday. You will receive a competitive salary with weekend and bank holiday enhancements, generous paid breaks and support for on going training and development.

Volunteering at Compton House

We would love to welcome anyone who could help us with the following activities:-

To join the gardening group on Wednesday mornings

Playing games with residents 11 - 12 Mon, Tues, Thurs or Saturday mornings

Helping with puzzles and quizzes any afternoon Monday - Sunday

Reading to Residents

Reminiscing with Residents

Teaching residents how to use an Ipad

Assisting on outings in fair weather

Visiting residents at weekends

Tending our indoor plants

Giving talks to small groups on hobbies, special interests, local history etc
