Meet the Team
We are very fortunate in having the expertise of Dr A. Reader from Lindfield Medical Centre who is responsible for the medical care of our residents who register with Lindfield Medical Centre. Dr Reader visits on a weekly basis and sees all residents registered with Lindfield Medical Centre. He is also available to visit individual residents, in addition to his weekly visit, when necessary during surgery hours. The local out of hours GP service provides cover at all other times. Physiotherapy, speech and language therapists are also available under the NHS if the criteria are met. Private physiotherapists and chiropodists visit by arrangement with the individual. We also have regular visits from Visioncall Opticians to the Home
The health and wellbeing of every resident is at the heart of our service. We provide 24 hour nursing care under the direct supervision of our Registered Nurses supported by a team of trained health care assistants. Every resident is unique and an individualised plan of care will be developed which fully involves the resident. Relatives are also encouraged to contribute to this process by providing additional information to ensure that all aspects of care are considered and planned for, in line with each individual’s preferences. This plan of care is kept in the resident’s room and will always be available to you and with your permission, your relatives. Every resident has a named, registered nurse and at least two key workers whose role it is to take a special interest in your health and wellbeing. Your plan of care is continually monitored, reviewed and updated by your named nurse to ensure it reflects your current health and wellbeing needs.
Learning and Development
