National Dignity Action Day
National Dignity Action Day is an annual opportunity for health and social care workers,
and members of the public to uphold people's rights to dignity and provide a truly memorable
day for people who use care services.
Compton House Staff, Residents, Volunteers and Visitors will be celebrating by holding the following activities on Monday 1st February:-
11am Residents & Staff Dignity Coffee Morning
Staff and residents will be discussing what Dignity means to each of us and we will ask each resident
to try to use one word that represents dignity to them. As a memento of the day we will be working
with each resident to frame that word in their own unique way.
12.30pm Staff will have lunch with residents
2.45pm Residents & Relatives Meeting
3pm Staff and Residents Digni-tea
Staff and Residents will take tea together
3.15pm Make a wish
Staff have been talking to residents about things they might wish for or things they may miss about living at home.
Staff have made these into wish cards for residents and we will do our very best to make residents wishes come true
over the coming weeks and months
3.30pm Pamper time
With Linda & Naomi
We would like to extend an open invitation to all relatives, volunteers and friends of Compton House to join us for any part of the day
